Scott is a talented freelance artist, writer, production, packing and marketing guy who knows firsthand about breast cancer. His mother-in-law has dealt with breast cancer twice; his ex-wife and her sister have been found to carry the gene and are currently undergoing precautionary treatments. With the fate of his 9 year old daughter in mind, he created his pink ribbon card line to promote awareness with a unique touch of humor. In Scott’s own words, “I have turned my creative energies toward the fight for a cure. I have been told by many women that humor is a magnificent weapon in the face of this deadly disease, so I took that and ran with it.” Through his line of breast cancer awareness merchandise, Scott not only hopes to raise awareness, but he also donates a portion of all proceeds to breast cancer research. Scott sums it up eloquently, “I know and have met many people who have had this disease touch their lives in some way and I am hoping to make a difference with my work.”
