Breast Cancer Books

We offer a few books and journals on breast cancer, grieving, dealing with the loss of a spouse, and literature to help kids understand.

A Message from Maureen: "After I found out I was diagnosed, I don't think there was a breast cancer book left of the shelves that I didn't at least thumb through. I tried to become an expert in a field that doctors take decades to understand; even then, there is still so much we don't know. Add search engines into the equation, and I don't know how much I ended up printing off or bookmarking. I guess when we're faced with something so new and foreign, we instinctively learn as much as we can about it to come up with a game plan to beat it. Above any amount of literature, education or discussions with my doctor, I knew it ultimately came down to my hope and faith - that's what got me mentally through."
