The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC)
The nation’s largest breast cancer advocacy group with hundreds of member organizations and tens of thousands of individual members. It is dedicated to research, access and influence, and other issues surrounding breast cancer.

The American Cancer Society
A voluntary health organization dedicated to eradicating cancer as a major health problem. It provides research, education, advocacy and service. For more information, call the toll-free hot line 888-ACS-2345 or visit their Web site.

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization
Provides breast cancer information, support and referrals through its national 24-hour toll-free hot lines in English (800-221-2141) and Spanish (800-986-9505). The hot lines are staffed by trained peer counselors who are all breast cancer survivors.

Young Survival Coalition
A volunteer network of survivors and supporters whose goal is to increase awareness of the issues surrounding breast cancer in women age 40 and under. YSC focuses its support on increasing breast cancer research, technology, education and outreach for young women.
